Movers held my furniture until I paid an undisclosed "fuel surcharge"

Citywide Movers quoted a flat rate in writing. On delivery day the driver refused to unload until I paid an extra $240 "fuel surcharge" that was never in the quote or the contract I signed. I paid under pressure to get my furniture back and have the original quote and the messages.
